Terms of use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to the Living Room Athlete app for Android (the app) and the website livingroomathlete.app. The app is offered by Kiekens Digital, Loopakker 1, Breda, the Netherlands, KvK 71997067 (we, us). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Questions: support@livingroomathlete.app.
Your health comes first
Living Room Athlete offers general fitness workouts. It is not medical advice and does not replace advice from a doctor or physiotherapist.
- Consult a doctor before you start if you have any doubt about your health, for example if you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have not exercised for a long time.
- Train within your own limits. Stop right away if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath that is not normal for you.
- Use proper technique and a kettlebell weight you can control. Make sure you have enough space around you, a stable floor, and a pull-up bar that is mounted securely.
- The bell weights and levels in the app are suggestions. You decide what is safe for you.
You use the app and do the exercises at your own risk.
Free workouts
You can complete five workouts for free. Mobility flows count towards these five. After that, you need a subscription to start new workouts. Your profile and workout history stay available without a subscription.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are sold through Google Play: monthly (€7.99 per month) or yearly (€39.99 per year). Prices can differ per country and currency; Google Play shows the final price before you buy.
- Payment is taken by Google Play from the payment method in your Google account.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
- You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions). After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under the Google Play refund policy. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but if something went wrong, email us and we will help where we can.
- If we change the price of a subscription, Google Play informs you in advance, following its own rules. You can cancel if you do not agree with the new price.
Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription.
Licence to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this. The app, its workouts, texts and design remain the property of Kiekens Digital.
Exercise videos and links
The app links to YouTube searches so you can look up how an exercise is done. These videos are made by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or quality.
Changes to the app
We keep improving the app. We may add, change or remove workouts and features. We do our best to keep the app available and working, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, damage or loss that results from using the app or doing the exercises. If we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the event. These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and they do not affect any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country, and you may also go to a court there.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
